Sacreterre Umbria Rosso IGT

A great red wine, which comes from the typical and ancient Sagrantino grape, refined for five years in oak barrels. the colour is a deep ruby red tending on garnet, its bouquet is pervasive and elegant with vanilla, chocolate and honey aromas. the taste is dry, warm and velevety; words cannot describe this wine, which is perfect for tasting on special occasion, a wine to meditate upon and for meditation. It is perfect for strong cheese, game stews, braised meat and nuts. To be served at 18-20°C (64-68°F).

VINIFICATION Carbonic maceration in rotary fermentation tank followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel
AGING Five years in oak barriques, followed by bottle aging
CHARACTERISTICS Colour: intense ruby red
Bouquet: penetrating with hints of vanilla and chocolate
Flavour: dry and clean, warm and velvety, a complex structure with mature tannins and hints of ripe fruit
