Assisi Grechetto Doc

This wine is produced with the first pressing of the typically Umbrian Grechetto grape. Its colour is a light, brilliant straw yellow; its bouquet is full and fruity. The flavour is full-bodied and dry with an extraordinary balance between acidity and fruitness, that leaves a unique and persistent aroma. A perfect accompaniment for fish dishes. To be served at 8-10°C (46-50°F)

CULTIVATION SYSTEM Palmet, or fan pruning, with spring cluster thinning and organic farming methods without the use of pesticides and herbicides
YIELD PER HECTARE 6000 l/ha
VINIFICATION Soft pressing, free-run juice fermented in stainless steel at controlled temeperature
AGING Released in spring following harvest, it improves in the following year
CHARACTERISTICS Colour: intense straw-yellow
Bouquet: rich in fruity fragrances
Flavour: good body and dry, long on the palate
SERVING TEMPERATURE 8-10°C (46-50°F)
FOOD MATCHINGS Fish and white meats
